Hailing from a family of Sport dating back three generations, and following in the footsteps of his brother, India's racing sensation Karun Chandhok, Suhail was always destined for a life in sport. Carving his own niche however, he chose to take on the leather and willow instead of life on four wheels.

Suhail broadened his horizons, both academically and in the sporting world, at the University of Adelaide, South Australia (SA). Now a Cricket Australia Level 2 Coach as well, Suhail represented his side in SA's A Grade Cricket League for over 3 seasons. A record-breaking season in the UK followed, before he was drafted in by the IPL's Bangalore Royal Challengers, to join their camp ahead of the Champions League T20 in 2009 and again in 2010. Multiple knee surgeries however curtailed his playing career from that year on.

His passion for theatre and film, and a series of short films, led to a pivotal role in the Tamil blockbuster film Veeram in 2014. A move to the "City of Dreams" (Mumbai) followed in June 2014, as he was signed by one of Asia's largest sports networks, Star Sports. Suhail has since become one of India's leading Sports Presenters & Commentators having worked on properties such as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, the Pro Kabaddi League, the Hero Indian Super League Football, the Hero Hockey India League and the FIA Formula E Series!
